MĀNOA editor Frank Stewart met with Eric Komori, archaeologist at Bishop Museum and principal of Tom Dye & Colleagues to talk about upcoming volume: Curve of the Hook: An Archaeologist in Polynesia.

The 200-page, full-color book will present the life and work of Dr. Yosihiko Sinoto. Included are archival photos and other images never before published.

In this book-length interview with Hiroshi Aramata, Dr. Sinoto talks about his travels throughout Polynesia and the pioneering work he did in Pacific archaeology. Eric assisted Dr. Sinoto with some of the important excavations and discoveries described in the book.

Curve of the Hook will be the summer 2016 volume of MĀNOA.
